Hi-ya! When my kiddos reach an age where they can create their own characters, they hand me a sketch I make an illustration up of their characters based off their sketch. This one came up just in time for my baby girls birthday. I am going to stick this missy on a shirt for her and later maker her a poster to put on her wall. These are always fun, 'cause I work closely with them to get it how they like it. Hope you enjoy. And yes... I totally agree, her sketch is WAY better than my illustration. :)

Oh and I had to jump off my progress piece, to finish this up in time to make it into a shirt.

About 6 hours or so.. Hard to tell I just work till it's done. My art director was a bear at times, I had to change a number of things... she acted like such a child. :)
