Triumph Lost - Finished by universe-K Triumph Lost - Finished by universe-K
Okay here is the finished piece of the Triumph Lost - progress [link] piece that I ummm...... aaaaa.... haven't given all the progress for yet. But I have the screen shot steps all ready I just need to work them up for you all. But I wanted to get this piece in for pencil-ninja's Gladiator Battle [link] Thought it would be fun to participate in one of these famous DA jams. Anyway, I don't have time this evening to get you the steps on this but I will be back with it tomorrow or monday. :) My kids want to see their daddy over the weekend so it will probably be Monday.

Not sure if I am digging the piece completely... I did have fun creating it, so for me that's all the matters. I am still experimenting with painting techniques, it's a blast just to get going on a piece and play till your done.

Anyway let me know what you guys think.

*Edit* I made some revisions to the background to try and push it back just a bit more. There was a little too much competition visually.

Hey, K! I'm very curious about how exactly you did that fog. Could you explain?

That could become complex. The plain and simple of it is that I used some cloud brushes that my bud Yolkum hooked me up with. And I used a bunch of multiply, overlay and screens on the big beasty along with layer masks. Basically, I just worked it until it was right. Sorry can't give you an exact on that one.

It's ok. I just needed a basic idea. It's very good.

Thanks... I just got to break out of my shell some and try new things. I am ready to head back to my style maybe take a few of these things I learned with me and show new evolved art. Who knows. Thanks for looking.
